Almost all varieties of insulating tape can be folded.Tapeformers can be used to insulate all manner of cables including LAN, telephone & communication cable and automotive cable.Tapeformers are manufactured to individual specifications and can be adapted to almost all cable making machinery.

How it Works:

The PTFE insert provides a very low friction barrier between the tape passing through the tape former and the stainless steel of the tape former.

 

 

Benefits include:

Greatly reduced friction of the tape passing through the tape former.

When using metalised tapes scoring is prevented because there is no longer metal to metal contact.

Because the insert is replaceable once the PTFE is worn out simply reaplace with a new one.

Reduced breakages of the tape due to friction.

Suitable for tape thicknesses 0.09mm and above.

Available on tape formers with tape widths 10mm and greater. These tape formers are manufactured with more clearance to accept the PTFE insert.
